Grameen Foundation’s ICT Innovation Program is home to four initiatives focused on using mobile phones to improve lives and livelihoods. In addition to our AppLab work in Uganda, we recently launched AppLab Indonesia as well as an Initiative in Ghana focused on improving care to pregnant women and newborns. Our Community Knowledge Worker Initiative in Uganda seeks to improve the lives of smallholder farmers through collection and dissemination of relevant and actionable agricultural information.
